Hello, I’m Caroline Vidican. I have lived in France for over forty years and come from a family whose favourite topic of conversation is food and skill in the kitchen a fact we almost take for granted. Nowadays, so many people have little time to cook, and have lacked the good fortune to learn from their mother and grandmothers as we did.
Apart from a lifetime of cooking French meals, in France, for my family, I have, for the last eight years, cooked gourmet table d’hôte dinners for guests at my bed and breakfast near the Loire Valley. I now live in Brittany, fifteen minutes from the coast, where we are lucky enough to have a wide choice of fish and seafood and good, fresh, locally produced vegetables.
